This is a modification of Table 2 from 2023 - Policing COVID-19 in Victoria. p26, 27. NB The inclusion of Middle Eastern and African with Mediterranean in 2018, 2019 and of Middle Eastern with Mediterranean in 2022 and 2023 may result in a dilution of the differentiation of these groups from groups who may otherwise be racialised as ‘White’. We recommend that Victoria Police removes ‘Mediterranean’ from the Middle Eastern classification.
